Investment Associate

As an Investment Associate at Pallas Capital Advisors, Sam collaborates closely with the investment management team, dedicated to crafting and implementing investment strategies and providing operational support to the firm’s clients.

Prior to joining Pallas Capital, Sam spent two years as an Associate Institutional Portfolio Manager at RBC Global Asset Management. In this role, he was responsible for supporting business development efforts by leveraging his investment expertise to position RBC’s investment capabilities for successful engagements with clients, consultants, and prospects. Sam initiated his career in financial services as an Investment Research Associate and later became the Director of Investment Services at Alpha Pension Group, Inc. During his two years at Alpha Pension Group, Inc., he was responsible for conducting ongoing investment and risk management research across various asset classes. Additionally, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the investment team, supervising the client reporting process and research associates.

Sam is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and maintains his Series 7 and 63 registrations. He is a graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance and business.

Originally from Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Sam currently resides in South Boston. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in the mountains, either skiing or biking, and during the warmer months, he can be found searching for his golf balls in the rough.
