Michael McCarthy is Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at Pallas Capital Advisors, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Throughout his career, Michael has worked closely with families to help them plan for their financial goals and uses his expertise as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor ® to assist them in planning for a comfortable retirement.

Prior to Pallas Capital Advisors Michael was Vice President, Senior Wealth Manager at Mayflower Advisors. There, Michael developed a keen understanding of investment risk – allowing him to focus on helping clients to achieve short, medium, and long-term goals. Michael began his career in the financial services world as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch where he mainly helped professional practices and business owners with tax–efficient strategies and protecting assets from creditors. Michael also holds his Series 7, Series 63, and Series 66 registration.

Michael, his wife Michelle, and their two children live in Canton, MA. Michael is known for his athletic ability and competitive spirit. While earning his Bachelor of Science at Boston College, his team won the Beanpot Championship. In his free time, Michael enjoys being a member of the Boston Junior Terriers Hockey Club, hiking the 4,000-foot mountains in New Hampshire, and watching his kids play sports. Michael also serves as the assistant Varsity Hockey and Freshman Coach at Catholic Memorial High School.
